I'm Mark Thompson, and I live in Elmhurst, Illinois, near Chicago. Each year I go to Clark D. Rodeffer's Abstract Games tournament at the U*Con in Ann Arbor, where I usually have the pleasure of losing a game of Cannon against the inventor. I once set up a website describing a few abstract games, and hope to update it again someday. Also at that site is an article I wrote containing some of my bloviations about games, which some people have said kind things to me about.
