SDG Triathlon 2008

Part of the 2008 IAGO World Tour

The games for this tournament will be:

• Amazons
• Entropy
• Razzle-Dazzle

• Registration is open to any and all SDG members. Simply go to the Tournaments page and click “Register!”
• If you're not currently a member of SDG, it is 100% free to join and play. Click the “Register New Account” button on the front page.

• The tournament will be a standard, 6 round, Swiss tournament.
• In the spirit of Swim-Bike-Run, all games will be played consecutively.
• The games will be played as follows:
  • 2 rounds of Amazons
  • 2 rounds of Entropy
  • 2 rounds of Razzle-Dazzle
• This should result in a tournament length of less than a year (hopefully more like 6 months).
• Ties will be resolved first by comparing Entropy scores and then by play-off. With play-offs, all tied players will be seeded again in a 3-round, all-game tournament and this process will repeat until a clear victor is decided.
• A per-round time limit of 60 days is being instituted! This means that regardless of the per-move-timer, if a game has not ended within the 60-day period from the start of the round then the game becomes open to adjudication! It is not expected that this will be a problem but one never knows. The concern of the tournament director is to finish the tournament before Christmas.
